Almost one third of Americans sleep less than six hours a night but according to the experts you should really be getting a full eight hours of sleep each night. Aside from the amount of sleep you get, another factor that can have a strong impact on your sleep quality could be your nightly routine — whether you watch TV or use your phones before bed.
When we look at our screens before going to bed, it strains our eyes and makes it harder for us to get restful sleep. But not all tech is harmful to your sleep. White Noise machines can actually be helpful to your sleep. There are also apps that are trying to help us sleep better by monitoring our snoring and how much we move around at night during our sleep cycle.
